Update!

Beautiful weather we're having in Ontario this week...I'm still wearing my flip flops!!!!  :)  Enough chatting about the weather, lets get into some good stuff!!!!!  Hope you are all having a fabulous week, I'm crazy busy at work but making time on my evenings off to do some finishing on a couple pieces I've been working on.  Now that's F-U-N!!!

No pics yet as my charger is at work and it's what I use to upload my pics from my phone...hopefully this weekend but I figured I'd tease you all some until then.  I dark waxed with Annie Sloan Dark Wax tonight on a coffee table I did with a dark espresso stained top and DIY chalk paint in a pretty cream color I "borrowed" from my painter brother, he's cool like that!  I also finished up the painting and waxing part of an antique chair that I've been working on using Martha Stuart's Vintage Décor Paint in Tomatillo (really awesome yellow is what I call it) and AS Dark Wax...now it just needs the perfect fabric to recover the seat and it's finished...probably up for sale soon.  The coffee table is mine, though, sorry!!! 

I've tentatively sold the first table that I posted on here last week...I'm on the look out for another one similar so no worries if you wanted it.

General Finishes Milk Paint Samples!!

It's on it's way!!!!!  I'm so overly excited to try General Finishes products and my sample pack is on it's way...might have to take next weekend off to play with it all!!  "Happy Dance"!!

 

I have a few more pieces I'm working on this cloudy day, hopefully have some more pictures to show here by Monday...need to finish my to-do list around the house before I'm allowing myself to paint today...better get cracking!

Welcome to Refreshed Renewed Recreated!!!!

Along with Scrapbooking, knitting and crocheting, just to name a few artsy things I like, I've recently started a long time dream of refinishing wood furniture, accessories and more...take a quick peek at my first project - don't mind the terrible pictures, I'll stage them and add again once I find some room in my house to achieve the look I'm going for!!! 

Over the course of the next few days I'll add photos of other things I've repurposed, including a fabric ottoman!!!!!, for you to get an idea of what I love to do!!
